No. Our hardware contains no electronic components that can transmit data. It is a completely passive secure storage object. You manually transfer your seed phrase from the module to your software wallet when needed.
Our hardware works with any wallet that uses standard BIP39 mnemonic seed phrases (12, 18, or 24 words). This includes most major crypto assets, not just bitcoin. The hardware itself is blockchain-agnostic.
We cannot recover your keys. That is the point. The product is designed for secure backup. You should store a second backup elsewhere. Treat our hardware like a key to a safe – losing it does not unlock the safe.
No. We recommend using a standard software or basic hardware wallet for daily transactions. IronVault is for long-term cold storage of significant crypto holdings. Keep your active wallet separate from your vault.
Our individual slots and capsules can be used to store multiple keys for a multi-signature setup. The hardware itself does not enforce multisig logic – that happens at the wallet software layer. We provide the physical secure containers for each key.
